Cancún International Airport:

From Cancún head south on highway 307. You will pass Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Felipe Carrillo Puerto, the Sian Ka´an reserve and then, after a little town called Limones you will find the intersection with the highway leading to Mahahual and the Costa Maya.
55km later the highway dead-ends on the Carribean sea at the Mahahual lighthouse, follow the beach road south. Reception of La Posada de los 40 Cañones is situated on Huachinango street right 100mt after soccer field, Resort is just in front of caribbean sea and our brand-new boarwalk.

Chetumal International Airport:

From Chetumal follow highway 307 north towards Cancún. You will pass Bacalar lagoon, the town of Buenavista and just north of the town of Pedro A. Santos you will come to the intersection leading to Mahahual.
